1. Fear of Failure

You know, one big fear is the fear of not succeeding. It’s like, what would happen if I’m not adequate or I can’t fulfill expectations?

I remember when I failed the college exam. It was difficult, but I turned it into an opportunity to learn. I examined my mistakes, received help from my teachers, and next thing I knew, I passed the next test. The thing is, I consider failure as just a step towards improvement.

2. Fear of Rejection

Another significant issue is rejection. It can greatly affect you, whether it’s in your personal life or your job.

I have experienced my share of rejections, from not securing the job I desired to not being selected for a project I was passionate about. But Rather than letting it discourage me, I learned to view it as an opportunity to improve. I sought advice, improved my skills, and I became stronger because of it.

Public address, a lot of people are afraid of it. Standing in front of a crowd and talking, it can be very daunting.

I’ve done a bunch of Public address, from educational speeches to business presentations. I found out that the key to overcoming this fear is to be prepared. Like, be well-informed and rehearse your talk, and you’ll be okay.
